We are a cultural and events cooperative based in Girona.
Our work is varied, but it has a common aim: to bring culture closer and make it more diverse, weaving synergies with a network of people and organisations that strengthens the community. Sustainability and accessibility run through everything we do.

01 · 2017 — The start
From the energy of three young people from Girona.
Baowatt began with three people from Girona and one idea: that there was another way of working in the cultural sector. A working culture of our own, independent and cut to our size.

02 · 2021 — Cooperative
From a way of working to a structure.
After four years providing services and getting to know the cultural industry from the inside, that way of working became a cooperative. Ordering what already worked and giving it the resources to sustain itself.

03 · Today
Three lines, one and the same energy.
We are eight people, five members and three employees, and every year we bring in more than 220 professionals for specific projects. Produ, Tour and Rent are three ways of entering a project, sharing structure, team and resources.
BAOWATT
The cooperative model is how we organise ourselves, how we work and how we decide.
We share responsibility
Decisions are taken by all of us who then have to carry them out on the ground.
We look after our teams
We surround ourselves with people who share our values, and we grow together.
We connect the lines
We pass knowledge from one line to the next: what we learn on the road with Tour, we already know at the following festival with Produ. That is what makes the cooperative strong.
The people who make it happen
Five members and three employees make up BAOWATT's core team. Click on each person to see what they do.

We speak the same language as
Festivals and cultural promoters
Production, technical office, crews, material resources and, often, artist logistics — backed by Onírik, FITAG and other festival-related productions.
Local councils and cultural venues
Reliable delivery, coordination, adaptability and clear communication — with A Prop and FITAG as public references for this track record.
Artists, management companies and touring crews
Tour helps prepare and sustain a tour, not just "put on shows" — with a public track record organising Sara Hebe's dates.
